ISLAMABAD, Pakistan - A bomb and gun attack destroyed a regional office of Pakistan?s national intelligence agency Wednesday, military officials said, leaving at least 5 people dead and over 30 injured.
An explosive-laden vehicle was rammed into the ISI office in Sukkur, in Pakistan?s southern Sindh Province.
One of two suspected attackers was arrested, the military official said.
?As a result of heavy explosion the building has been destroyed completely and many have been injured including ISI officials and policemen,? the official added.
Witnesses told local media one major explosion was followed by three smaller blasts, after which firing commenced.
There was no immediate indication on the number of casualties.
